Calvin Tomkins

Calvin Tomkins was general editor in charge of art, music, and religion departments at Newseek magazine. Since 1961 he has been a staff writer for The New Yorker. He is also the author of, among other books, Living Well is the Best Revenge, and a novel, Intermission.
