David Williams knew he wanted to be an artist at the young age of 11, when he first exhibited his drawings and paintings at an outdoor art fair. Four years later he held his first gallery show. A graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the Parsons School of Design in New York City, Williams instructs drawing at Ivy Tech Community College. In addition, he leads watercolor and oil painting classes at his studio. He is the author of Idiot’s Guides: Drawing and Idiot’s Guides: Zen Doodling.
