C. D. B. Bryan (1936–2009) was an American author and journalist. The former editor in chief of the satirical magazine Monocle, he is best-known for his nonfiction book Friendly Fire, which was made into an Emmy-winning TV movie for which he shares a Peabody Award. His other works include Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind: Alien Abduction, UFOs, and the Conference at MIT.
