Suzanne Havala Hobbs brings reliable guidance to consumers and organizations on diet and health. A nationally recognized author and expert on food, nutrition, and health policy, she is a licensed, registered dietitian with a doctorate in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she is a clinical assistant professor in the School of Public Health and director of the Doctoral Program in Health Leadership.Her nutrition column, “On the Table” (onthetable.net), reaches 400,000 readers weekly in the News & Observer of Raleigh, North Carolina, and the Charlotte Observer. The author of nine books, Dr. Hobbs also is a regular contributor to national magazines and other publications.
