Archie: Obama & Palin in Riverdale

Writer, producer, teacher, and founder of Kid’s Comic Con, Alex Simmons has become a fan-favorite author for teachers, parents and students alike. His work in the Archie universe has been hailed as entertaining and educational. As a professional writer Alex Simmons has exhibited his tremendous ability and range by writing about a number of topics, from magazine interviews and articles, to video games and documentaries, to children’s novels and comic books.  Simmons has easily moved from fiction to non-fiction, creating exciting mysteries and compelling biographies.

DAN PARENT is an American comic book artist and writer best known for his work with Archie Comics, where he is an innovator behind some of Archie’s biggest hits. Parent was the writer of the story in which Archie fell for Valerie of Josie & the Pussycats, the artist of Obama and Palin in Riverdale, and the writer/artist of the Kevin Keller series, whose premiere story sold out its first printing, has been nominated for two GLAAD Media Awards as well as garnering worldwide media attention, and whose series continues to receive widespread, positive media attention. Most recently, Parent illustrated the Archie Meets Kiss graphic novel.
