Those who met Jesus were often profoundly affected by their conversations with him. In his Encounters with Jesus series, Timothy Keller, pastor of New York’s Redeemer Presbyterian Church and New York Times bestselling author of The Reason for God, explores these conversations to show how they can still change our lives today. By examining the biblical passages where Jesus speaks with an insider, Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council, and an outsider, a Samaritan woman, Keller sheds light on the subject of sin—the biblical concept for what is wrong with the world.
