William G. Crook, MD, received his medical education and training at the University of Virginia, the Pennsylvania Hospital, Vanderbilt, and Johns Hopkins. He was a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics; the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; and Alpha Omega Alpha. He wasa the author of numerous scientific articles and 11 other books. For 15 years he wrote a nationally syndicated newspaper column (General Features and Los Angeles Times Syndicate). Dr. Crook died in 2002.
