Dr. Michael Popkin earned a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University and has served as Director of Child and Family Services at an Atlanta hospital. He is the founder of Active Parenting Publishers and author of many award-winning video-based parenting education programs. An expert in the field of parent education, he has appeared on over 100 TV and radio programs, including Oprah. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.

Robyn Freedman Spizman is the author and coauthor of numerous parenting, educational, and how-to books. A motivational speaker, she has lectured to thousands about balancing family and work and getting organized. She has appeared on radio and television, including the Today show, CNN’s Parenting Today, the Discovery Channel, CNBC, and Home Matters.
