Cathy East Dubowski has written and adapted several books for Penguin Young Readers, including Pirate School and Anna Sewell’s Black Beauty. Dubowski is also an editor, illustrator, and narrator.

Mark Dubowski is an illustrator and the author of the Step into Reading book Ice Mummy: The Discovery of a 5,000-Year-Old Man. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.
