JEAN LITTLE is the award-winning author of more than fifty books for children, including some of Canada’s best-loved titles, such as From Anna, Once Upon a Golden Apple (co-written with Maggie deVries), and Pippin the Christmas Pig. Her work has been translated into eighteen languages, and she received many national and international awards and was honoured with the Order of Canada for her outstanding contribution to Canadian children’s literature. Her work has been translated into eighteen languages. Jean lived in Guelph, Ontario, for most of her life. She died in 2020.
