DANNA SMITH is the author of the picture books Mother Goose’s Pajama Party, The Hawk of the Castle, and Swalllow the Leader. Born in Salt Lake City, Danna is currently a full-time writer and dreamer living in Northern California with her husband, their two grown children, and their cocker spaniel, Peanut. TAKAKO FISHER, who was born and raised in Mito, Japan, moved to the United States in 1995 and graduated from Harding University with a BFA in graphic design. After working as an art director and graphic designer, she found her true passion: illustrating children’s books. She is the illustrator of the Little Golden Book Springtime Babies.
