Eve Bunting is the author of the Caldecott-winning Smoky Night, illustrated by David Diaz. Among her many other titles are Will It Be a Baby Brother?, Mouse Island, Emma’s Turtle, Baby Can, My Red Balloon, and My Special Day at Third Street School. She lives in Pasadena, California.

Suzanne Bloom is the author and illustrator of the picture books featuring Goose and Bear: A Splendid Friend, Indeed, a Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor Book; Treasure; What About Bear? and Oh! What a Surprise! Her other books include Feeding Friendsies, No Place for a Pig, A Mighty Fine Time Machine, and the popular The Bus for Us. She lives with her family in McDonough, New York.
