Donde me encuentro / Where I Find Myself

Una mujer camina por una ciudad contemplando su soledad y la de quienes la rodean. A medida que se desarrolla su día a día -de una librería a la consulta de su terapeuta o a un restaurante- se sorprende con la súplica silenciosa de una lápida en la carretera, el diálogo accidentado de un padre con su hija, el recuerdo del encuentro con la inesperada amante de su antigua pareja o la silueta de un puente al anochecer. Cuando se cruza con el novio de su amiga por la calle, las posibilidades agridulces de un amor inexplorado la llevan a interrogarse acerca de su aislamiento y libertad, y cómo ha repercutido en sus relaciones afectivas.

 Donde me encuentro sigue a esta mujer a través de las cuatro estaciones, dejando que cada una desvele un poco más sobre quién es mientras ella averigua qué es lo que realmente quiere.

A woman walks through a city contemplating her solitude and that of those around her. While she goes about her daily life—from a bookstore to her therapist’s office or a restaurant—she is surprised by the silent entreaties of a memorial marker on the highway, the troubled dialogue between a father and his daughter, the memory of meeting her ex’s unexpected lover, or the silhouette of a bridge at nightfall. When she bumps into her friend’s boyfriend in the street, the bittersweet possibilities of an unexplored love lead her to question herself about her isolation and freedom, and how they have affected her relationships. Where I Find Myself follows this woman through the four seasons, letting each one reveal a bit more about who she is while she finds out what she really wants.
