Michael J. Varhola is an author, editor, and lecturer who specializes in non-fiction and travel-related subjects. His books include Everyday Life During the Civil War (Writer’s Digest Books, 1999) and Fire and Ice: The Korean War, 19501953 (Savas Publishing, 2000). He is the founder and publisher of game development company Skirmisher Publishing LLC. Varhola studied in Denver and Paris before earning a degree in journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park.
