THOMAS KING is an award-winning writer whose critically acclaimed, bestselling books include Medicine River; Green Grass, Running Water; Truth and Bright Water; and The Back of the Turtle as well as several books for children. He has taught literature and creative writing at universities in the United States and Canada. Thomas King lives in Guelph, Ontario.

CHARLENE CHUA grew up in Singapore and immigrated to Canada as an adult. She has illustrated almost twenty picture books, including Hug?, Going Up, Raindrops to Rainbow and Amy Wu and the Perfect Bao. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario, with her husband and their two cats.
