Eco-friendly products can carry quite a price tag, but with encouraging words and easy-to-followinstructions, Shore’s collection of simple sewing and crafting projects can inspire readers tocreate their own and reduce, reuse, and recycle, all at the same time. Items here can be used forfood (wax wraps, lunch bags, grocery totes), personal care (makeup remover pads, reusablewipes and a way to carry them, face coverings), and other household purposes (gift wrappings,cleaning wipes). Many projects are suitable for absolute beginners, but some, like structuredbags with bias trim, are better to build up to. Throughout, Shore emphasises using organic,repurposed, and eco-friendly supplies, and reminds readers that using what they have is justfine, and better than buying new.
