Chickens on the Move

Meg Belviso holds a BA in English from Smith College and an MFA from Columbia University. During the week, she chronicles angel encounters as Staff Editor of the bi-monthly magazine Angels on Earth, though in her time off she often prefers writing about monsters, ghosts and demons. That is, when she’s not writing for Penguin’s Who Was…? series of biographies.

Lucille Recht Penner was born in New York City and is an alumna of Barnard College. She has written more than twenty books for children on subjects ranging from dinosaurs to Native American food. One of her books for children was designated as an Ambassador Book by the English Speaking Union and two were selected as Honor Books by the Boston Globe/Horn Book Awards. Two more books were selections of the Children’s Book-of-the-Month Club. Lucille lives in Tucson, Arizona.
