3. Kira is reluctant to return home to her affluent East Texas town. How did the setting affect the story for you?

4. A Likeable Woman is a closed circle mystery. How many different characters did you suspect as the villain?

The book delves into the topic of likeability as it pertains to women—what it means to be likeable vs. unlikeable, how society labels females unlikeable if they dare to live outside of societal norms in even the smallest of ways. Sadie is a bold character who pushes these boundaries and it ultimately costs her her life. What do you think about the book’s message on likeability?
