MOIRA ROSE DONOHUE is the author of all sorts of nonfiction books for children, including the Little Kids First Big Book of the Rain Forest, Kangaroo to the Rescue, and Parrot Genius, all from National Geographic. She was born in Queens, New York, and now lives in St. Petersburg, Florida.
