At some point in your life, you’re going to have to paint buildings, even if you don’t want to paint buildings. If so, this is the book for you, although it is also a great deal more.
Nicholas works is a very loose style which has immediate appeal and these are very much impressions of buildings rather than architectural records. I think even the most dedicated landscape painter could be swayed, not least by Nicholas’s delightfully subtle use of colour and his handling of light.
