The first time Maddalena Splendori went into Adele Casagrande’s boutique in Rome in 1933, a special bond was created between the two women that would unite them forever. They share the non-conformist and passionate spirit that allowed Maddalena to get out the misery in which she was born and become a staple in the fashion salons of Rome, and allowed Adele to open a fashion business with her husband, with which she would fulfill her dream. Very soon, her brand of fur coats and accessories will become world famous despite the war. It will be the beginning of a great success. Adele will pass on to her five daughters her love for craft production and tradition, as well as her visionary ability.
