Over in the Garden

JANNA MATTHIES is a picture book author and early elementary music teacher in Indianapolis. Her books include Over in the Garden, Here We Come! (a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selection), and Two Is Enough. When she’s not writing or making music, Janna can be found digging in the garden.

TISHA LEE is a painter and illustrator who works out of her light-filled studio in Northern California with a few dogs at her feet. She mostly uses gouache for her illustrations and finds inspiration in the details and diversity of everyday life. Her picture books include Over in the Garden, Love Grows Everywhere and A Pinch of Love.
