A struggling reality TV producer tries to turn a reluctant vampire into the first supernatural lead of a famous dating show before the cameras start rolling in this steamy paranormal rom-com.

Gabriel Hargrave, vampire crown prince, should be sitting on a throne right now. Instead, he’s on “diplomatic assignment” — forced to live amongst humans for a decade. He’ll be welcomed back once he proves he can control the thirst prophesied to bring about his destruction. Gabriel thought he was doing the right thing, lying low in the last place anyone would look for him: a SoCal retirement community. But then he gets a warning: there is no test without exposure. Coincidentally, temptation just came knocking.

Harper Calloway makes great television. As the brains behind all the greatest moments on Rare Pair: America’s Most Exceptional Dating Experiment, she thought she was irreplaceable until one bitter male lead got her fired. Down and out, she takes a house-sitting gig for her grandmother and stumbles upon the answer to all her problems in the vampire next door. If she can deliver Gabriel—poised to be the first vampire on a reality dating show—to the network, she’ll get the only thing she wants more than her job back: redemption.

The problem? Gabriel doesn’t fit the dark and dangerous fantasy of a vampire prince; the only thing he’s got less experience with than dating is drinking blood. Harper has her work cut out for her when the network gives her three weeks to get him ready to woo advertisers as the face of next season. If he flops, she’s going down with him.
