She holds an MSc in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States and is a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Trescott has been working in private practice as a functional nutritionist for over a decade and has written three award-winning books: The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook, The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook, and The Nutrient-Dense Kitchen.
