Jessi was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, while Alessio comes from Cavasso Nuovo, a small village in the picturesque Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Northern Italy. What started as a fun project of sharing videos on social media quickly grew into a popular platform where they explore authentic Italian food, and the hilarious differences between Italian and American culture. Through their videos, they’ve been able to showcase authentic Italian ingredients that are often available in everyday grocery stores, educate viewers on exactly what is and isn’t in a true Italian recipe, and inspire others to find the fun and excitement that awaits in the kitchen.
