The ship’s captain, Medeira, is the first humanoid extraterrestrial Ava’s ever met, and she holds the answers to some of Ava’s biggest questions. Medeira knows why the ELBs were sent to Earth in the first place, and she knows the risks Ava took to save them. Now she has a bigger task in mind for the human girl.
