2004. Un hombre llega a un hospital de Madrid hecho un manojo de nervios porque su mujer está dando a luz. Enseguida le informan de que la niña ha nacido muerta. Pero entonces, cuando aún no se ha recuperado de esa terrible noticia, recibe otra sorpresa macabra e incomprensible…
El descubrimiento
Diecinueve años después. Como bastantes jóvenes de Leganés, Silvia se enfrenta a un presente oscuro y a un porvenir incierto. Cuando presencia la muerte de su mejor amiga durante una protesta vecinal, Silvia corre hacia ella y la abraza. Un gesto desesperado que, inexplicablemente, le devuelve la vida.
