“Who would you want to be with at the end of the world?” It may seem like a hypothetical question, but for Angélica, who lives in a world dominated by climate catastrophe with extreme weather driving many to shelter indoors, it becomes an obsession. Manu and Susana, her neighbors and friends in Madrid, are one possibility: the three of them together, lying on the grass in a park; in each other’s arms, watching a movie in Manu’s room; or spending their last days in the bar where Susana works.
