The Beginner's Guide to Owning a Cat

Calling all cat people! Do you have a cat? Do you want a cat? Have you ever heard of cats? This book is for you!

If you’ve ever thought about owning a cat, this book contains all you need to know. Once you have a cat, you will need to:

1) Name it (remember, it doesn’t really matter. Cats don’t come when called).
2) Play with it (not that it will let you).
3) Pet it (don’t forget Band-Aids!).

In addition to helpful tips for petting your cat (good luck!) and bonding with your cat, it also includes an essential supply list of things for your cat to ignore.

Remember: you don’t own the cat. You take care of cat. But also, the cat takes care of you.

With love and humor, author-illustrator Keith Negley celebrates the bizarre and regal creatures we call pets in this companion to The Beginner’s Guide to Being a Wizard.
