It’s December 24th, and Thiago Heide, the Spanish ambassador in the United Kingdom, has volunteered to work on Christmas Eve, since no one is expecting him for dinner. The diplomatic mission of the day seems easy enough: to pick up a fossil from the Natural History Museum. However, things get messy when he meets Violet Redbreast, the passionate paleontologist who tells him there was a silly mix-up with her supervisor, and the precious object is missing.
