His work starts piling up when he is tasked with investigating the murder of Bruno Canizales, a prestigious attorney with a double life, son of the former Minister of Agriculture, who is found with a silver bullet in his brain. And his phone won’t stop ringing with calls from his superior, announcing the discovery of new bodies just days later.

Who is behind it all? Drug cartels? The politicians fighting tooth and nail as elections approach? The Universal Small Brotherhood, to which Canizales belonged? Enlivened by moments of humor and adrenaline, the investigation takes Zurdo to mansions and dives, where he meets sources ranging from reporters to drop-dead gorgeous lesbians.
