David Fuentes narra su propia autobiografía desde el manicomio. Desde ahí reflexiona sobre su empeño en mantenerse fiel a sus valores, a su ideal utópico de libertad absoluta, a pesar de que para ello tenga que sacrificar a su familia, el amor o la amistad, en una sociedad que transita entre el conservadurismo y una nueva corriente pragmática y consumista. El destino de David es voluntariamente trágico y, así, inicia un camino que no tiene retorno.

David Fuentes narrates his own autobiography from a mental hospital. There he reflects on his efforts to remain faithful to his values, to his utopic ideal of absolute freedom, despite the fact that, to do son, he must sacrifice family, love, or friendship, in a society that moves between conservatism and a new pragmatic and consumerist flow. David’s fate is voluntarily tragic, thus beginning a path of no return.
