To the rhythm of the sea’s waves, Lowry takes us on a journey through different places and landscapes, but also through the depths of human existence, embodied by his classic characters such as the tormented writer Martin Trumbaugh, or the married couple Primrose and Sigbjørn Wilderness—one of the author’s fictional alter egos.
