Durante los meses siguientes su escandaloso contenido comienza a correr como la pólvora. ¿Por qué Goya esconde su obra más personal? ¿De qué tiene miedo?

Es entonces cuando la joven Angélica Díez llega junto a su padre a Madrid para empezar una nueva vida. La capital se ha convertido en un lugar de contrastes, donde convergen las ideas ilustradas que se propagan por Europa e instituciones como la Santa Inquisición, que se resiste a morir.

Para darse a conocer en la sociedad madrileña, Angélica acude a Goya y le pide un retrato. Sin embargo, la joven ignora que este los unirá en una peligrosa trama relacionada con la Inquisición, los Caprichos y un rumor que podría acabar con el maestro: se dice que Goya ha pintado a una mujer al desnudo.

Mientras la Inquisición intenta juzgar al pintor como un último golpe de efecto para mostrar su poder, Angélica descubrirá algo que Goya siempre supo… No hay arma más afilada que el arte para cambiar la Historia.

1799, Madrid. Francisco de Goya y Lucientes, court painter to the king, announces the sale of a luxurious book of prints entitled Los Caprichos. Although sales are a success, two weeks after its publication, Goya withdraws it from the market. Over the following months, its scandalous content begins to spread like wildfire. Why does Goya hide his most personal work? What is he afraid of?

It is then that the young Angélica Díez arrives in Madrid with her father to start a new life. The capital has become a place of contrasts, where the enlightened ideas spreading throughout Europe converge with institutions such as the Holy Inquisition, which refuses to die.
To make herself known in Madrid society, Angélica goes to Goya and asks him for a portrait. However, the young woman is unaware that this will bring them together in a dangerous plot involving the Inquisition, Los Caprichos, and a rumor that could destroy the master: it is said that Goya has painted a nude woman.
