Sue Quinn is an award-winning food journalist and cookbook author. She has written sixteen cookbooks on subjects ranging from chocolate to children’s cookery. In 2023 she was shortlisted for the Guild of Food Writers’ Food Writer of the Year award and won the Guild of Food Writers’ British Food Writer Award in 2018 and the Fortnum & Mason Online Food Writer Award in 2016. Sue holds a Level 1 Certificate from the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting (IICCT) and a Level 1 Certificate from the Academy of Cheese. She writes regularly in the UK’s leading publications, including The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Waitrose Magazine and the BBC News website. She has also appeared on television and radio as an expert food commentator. Born in Australia, she now lives by the sea in Dorset with her husband. They have two grown-up children.
