A monster named Beast is outsmarted by a kid he calls Dinner in a comical tale from the creator of an internationally popular novelty series—with fold-out letters from beastly friends, impatient for their feast.
When Beast catches Dinner—and sends out an invite to all his monster pals—the intended meal has to think fast. Wouldn’t Dinner be more delicious if he was plumped up with home-baked chocolate cake? How about a swim in the ocean to add the salt that Madame Gargoyle enjoys? And where better to find the slime that Giant Grumbo craves than by visiting the swamp? As days go by and Beast spends more time with his captive, a funny thing happens: Dinner doesn’t look so much like dinner anymore . . . Punctuated with hilarious letters from the demanding beasts on the guest list, this tale from the creator of Dragon Post, Unicorn Post, and Santa Post will whet the appetite of monster lovers and quick thinkers alike.
