KRISTEN JOHNSON INGRAM was born in Phoenix, Arizona, went to high school in Los Angeles, and to college at Arizona State University. She has authored several issues of Forward Day by Day, as well as nearly twenty books and numerous magazine and newspaper articles. She teaches at writers’ conferences, directs retreats, and leads workshops on suicide prevention. She is also the director of the Oregon Christian Writers’ Conference, a post she has held for four years. Ingram lives with her husband, Ron, in Springfield, Oregon.
