After saving an abandoned kitten, Taiyo found her forever home with his former classmate. Now, he can focus all his attention on his cat, Yuki, and resume his attempts to get Yuki to eat store-bought food. Meanwhile, Utako faces a new challenge when she’s asked to look after two kittens who need to be bottle-fed. Finally, Taiyo’s older brother Daichi continues learning the ropes about cat ownership and trying to gain the trust of the stray he and his parents took in. After finding his latest rescued stray the perfect new home, Taiyo and his beloved kitty Yuki are finally able to relax. As the two settle in to enjoy their first Christmas and New Year’s together, Taiyo learns he has to schedule an upcoming business trip that requires an overnight stay. His friend and fellow cat enthusiast Utako suggests he find a pet sitter, but who could he possibly trust with this vital task?

Just as Taiyo helps Yuki grow, Yuki helps bring Taiyo closer to his best friend Tetsu. Taiyo even makes a new friend in Utako, an employee at the cat café. One day, Taiyo gets the chance to pay it forward and design a flyer promoting cat adoptions.
