First-year high school student and aspiring manga artist Yasumi Ai has attended her first-ever convention, where she discovered that her manga idol, Hoshino Rei, is a teacher at her high school! But instead of gushing about the joys of art, Rei tells her that “Manga is worthless.” Despite this, Ai’s passion for the medium is undeniable, and she convinces the malcontent mangaka to be the faculty advisor for a new manga club at school. Now she’s ready to roll up her sleeves and get drawing!
