I picked up Who Moved My Cheese not really knowing what to expect from this little book. As I began to read about Hem and Haw (Little People), Sniff and Scurry (mice in the maze), and the adventure that they go on one thought kept coming to mind. “If you always do what you always did, you’ll always get what you always got.” It’s for that reason that I always recommend this book!

It’s not about what you do, it’s not about how you do it, what truly matters is why you do it! One of the most viewed TED talks is by Simon Sinek and in his talk entitled “How Great Leaders Inspire Action” he shares the concept of The Golden Circle. Start With Why goes into detail with analogies and a breakdown of how to use the golden circle and get the most out of it. I fell in love with the concept and from time to time I reread this gem to remind myself to Start With Why.
