by Sally Rooney
This story centers around Marianne and Connell, who we watch fall in and out of romance and friendship throughout the novel. This read is intense and polarizing but I found it to be beyond relatable. This book made me feel my kind of normal.

It Is Wood, It Is Stone

I love how quickly I jumped into this one, grabbing it after my weekly run to one of my local bookstores. It follows the lives of two women and how they intersect, and takes place over the course of a year in São Paulo, Brazil. I love how this book, which was gorgeously written, shows how women whose romantic and subversive entanglements reflect on class and colorism, sexuality, and complex histories.
