Hello, I’m Colleen, a field sales manager for the Random House Publishing Group. I was always the kid leaving the library with a basketful of books she could barely carry, reading way past her bedtime, and always reading multiple books at a time. Nothing has changed! My go-to genres are mystery and historical fiction, but I’m also a huge fan of YA, literary fiction, cozy fantasy, and narrative nonfiction. Plus, I love to collect and read cookbooks and have more than I can count. I live with my husband and three kitties just outside of Seattle, and when I’m not reading can be found knitting, baking, watching my beloved Mariners play baseball, and planning my next vacation. Seventy-something Sybil Van Antwerp lives alone in a big house, in what she calls “the winter of her life,” but she is about to find out that life can still change, transform, and blossom when she least expects it. This is perfect for fans of books like 84 Charing Cross Road and Olive Kitteridge. I laughed, I cried, I didn’t want it to end.
