About the Author
Peter Mendelsund, the former Associate Art Director of Alfred A. Knopf and “one of the top designers at work today” (The New York Times), now runs his own design firm, where he works in conjunction with Apple’s advertising and marketing agency. Current projects include work with the Emerson Collective, the Brookings Institute, the Guggenheim Foundation, and The Atlantic Magazine. He is currently collaborating with the creators of the Ace and Standard Hotels on the design of an office tower and innovation center in downtown Tokyo. He teaches classes on literature and art at Harvard University. Mendelsund is the author of What We See When We Read (Vintage), the monograph Cover (Powerhouse); and The Book Coverwith David J. Alworth (Ten Speed).
