About the Author
Ellen Oh is a founding member of We Need Diverse Books and winner of the Asian/Pacific American Award Honor for Children’s Literature for Finding Junie Kim. She is an award-winning author of the middle grade novels Dragon Egg Princess, The Spirit Hunters trilogy, and the YA fantasy trilogy The Prophecy Series: Prophecy, Warrior, and King. She is also the editor and contributor of You Are Here: Connecting Flights, a collection of interwoven stories, and editor of the middle grade anthology Flying Lessons and Other Stories, and the YA anthology A Thousand Beginnings and Endings. Ellen is a former adjunct college instructor and lawyer with an insatiable curiosity for ancient Asian history. She also loves martial arts films, K-pop, K-dramas, and is a big AHA fan. In fact, the Take On Me Video is the inspiration for Colliding Worlds. Originally from New York City, Ellen lives in Rockville, Maryland, with her husband, three human children, and two dog children and has yet to satisfy her quest for a decent bagel.
