Kate Celia Wilson

Kate Celia Wilson is a designer and illustrator based in the seasidetown of Brighton, England. Working digitally Kate creates bright, vibrantart work full of cheerful charm, expressive characters, and plenty of color. A childhood filled with travel and biologists for parents sparked a lasting appreciation for wildlife and the natural world, elements that regularly inspire her work. From fairies and princesses to pirates and animals, Kate delights in bringing characters to life with energy and emotion. She began her creative career designing gifts, toys, and games before moving into children’s publishing, where she has worked as both a designer and illustrator for more than eight years. Since going freelance in 2019, Kate has focused on illustration, combining hertechnical knowledge of print with a passion for creating engaging, imaginative visuals.
