Sasha Stok, PhD, SEP
Sasha Stok, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified Somatic Experiencing practitioner whose direct clinical work, teaching, and writing focuses on the impact of trauma exposure and systems involvement. She obtained her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, and currently provides trauma-focused services for justice– involved youth in New York City, as well as front-line staff, in affiliation with the Bellevue juvenile justice mental health services team. She also holds adjunct faculty positions for NYU and St. John’s University. Her work is fueled by the fundamental belief that all people hold the keys to their own empowerment and that resilience is fostered through safe connections with others.
