The protagonist of The Sea Is Full of Jellyfish didn’t read the small print on the contract of adulthood and now spends her time picking up the pieces of a love that was meant to last forever, in the middle of a global lockdown. With the firm hope to rediscover herself, she begins to piece together the story of her twenties in order to find herself in her thirties.
This is an endearing story about growing up and all the things that go wrong in the process: a first job and a first adult love story, a wedding and a divorce, many broken dreams, but also the strength to move forward, to reinvent herself, to laugh at herself, and begin again thanks to books and the hugs of her friends.
