IMPORTANT: Please read these Official Rules before entering the Penguin Random House Book Group Survey Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”), presented by Penguin Random House LLC (“Sponsor”). By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to the terms of these Official Rules.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States, including the District of Columbia, who are 18 or older at time of entry. All federal, state, and local regulations apply. Void where prohibited. Employees of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes.
ENTRY PERIOD: This sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on June 2, 2015, and ends at 11:59 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on July 14, 2015.
HOW TO ENTER: Digital Entry Only, two (2) potential entry methods; limit one entry per person across all points of entry:
1) If you received a Book Group Survey email from Penguin Random House, enter the sweepstakes by following the link in that email (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PRHGroups) and completing the survey. You will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes upon completion of the survey.
2) Alternatively, you may enter the Sweepstakes by completing the survey at (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PRHGroups2) and entering your email address on the final page.
Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information by entrants. Incomplete entries will be voided.
PRIVACY POLICY: All information submitted in connection with entry to this Sweepstakes shall be governed by Sponsor’s privacy policy (at https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/privacy/). By entering this Sweepstakes, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this privacy policy.
PRIZE: Ten (10) Winners will each receive one (1) $100 VISA Gift card, One (1) Winner will receive one (1) $500 VISA Gift Card.
No transfer or cash or other substitution of all or part of the Prize Package is permitted, except by Sponsor, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable or greater value.
WINNER SELECTION: Eleven (11) Winners will be selected in a random drawing on July 14, 2015, from all eligible entries received by the entry deadline. The odds of winning depend on how many eligible entries have been received. Winners will be notified via e-mail and must respond to e-mail notification within five (5) days of receipt. The failure to respond timely to the notification may result in forfeiture of the Prize. If winner notification of the Prize is returned as undeliverable, or if Winner fails to timely respond to the notification or declines the Prize, the Prize will be awarded to an alternate winner, selected in a random drawing, among the remaining entries.
DISCLAIMERS: By accepting the prize, the Winners agree that Sponsor, its parent company, assigns, subsidiaries and affiliates, and advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by the Winner for any liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to person and property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of the prizes, or participation in this sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Winner consents to of the use of his/her name for publicity and promotional purposes on behalf of Sponsor with no additional compensation or further permission (except where prohibited by law).
