Arslan is the teenaged prince of the ancient kingdom of Pars who doesn’t seem to have what it takes to be a great ruler like his father, Andragoras III. A fateful encounter with a slave from the neighboring country of Lusitania leads Arslan to question the world outside of the royal capital’s walls but before he can indulge his curiosity, war breaks out. Arslan is rushed off to his first war, only to see his kingdom crumble in front of his eyes. This series of events leads the young Arslan on a journey to reclaim his lost kingdom.

THE SCOURGES OF GILAN
King Andragoras arrives at Peshawar, reclaiming his army and  authority from Arslan. To rub more salt in the wound, Andragoras banishes Arslan to the south, declaring he can only return once he’s amassed an army of 50,000 soldiers. Arslan and his crew set out on this seemingly impossible mission, and their first destination is the beautiful, bustling port city of Gilan. However, things are not as sunny in Gilan as they appear. Arslan’s group of eight finds itself in a struggle to defend Gilan…from an army of pirates. And someone lurking in the shadows wants the pirates to win…

But before Arslan can finish his duties and move on to recapturing Ecbatana, Narsus holds a meeting to reveal the earth-shattering details of Silver Mask’s identity, and the truth will stun Arslan to his very core.

WHERE LOYALTIES LIE

Prince Arslan finds himself gifted with 3,000 cavalrymen for aiding Rajendra in the capture of his traitorous brother, Gadhevi. And later, in Peshawar Fortress, more trouble lurks as a shadowy figure silently stalks Arslan and his retinue in search of a secret letter.

THE TIDES OF BATTLE

The decisive battle between Arslan and Gadhevi has finally begun. Arslan may have new allies in Prince Rajendra and the warrior Jaswant, but are they truly worthy of his trust?
